2 people who influenced my life

Olena Holovnia My first manager. I started as an accountant at the age of 18, after graduating from technical college, and Olena was the person who gave me the “green light” to grow my career. Under her leadership, I advanced along a path that takes many people decades: from staff accountant to finance director of a large company in just 6 years. From Olena, I learned not only financial precision and composure as a manager, but also how to be a leader while remaining a multifaceted woman. Olena saw my potential before I recognized it myself and laid the foundation of the systematic approach on which I still build my business today.
Nataliia Liubymova A client, partner, and muse whose growth journey has become part of my professional identity. Nataliia and I have been working together for more than 7 years—and it is much more than just a working relationship. It is a story of growing together. Nataliia is someone I truly admire and who constantly motivates me to become a better version of myself as a marketing professional. She has become a symbol of steady growth and trust for me. It is because of people like her that I understand that true marketing is about building deep, long-term strategies that transform the lives of both parties.”

Section 3: Biography.

I — Tetiana Zinchenko, founder and CEO of digital agency KODO, a brand marketer for expert-led and educational projects with over 11 years of experience. My professional journey began with a challenge: after the events of 2014, I left the banking sector and consciously moved into social media to build a business without borders. Together with my team, I help experts and entrepreneurs create strategies for stable sales, build personal brands, and launch educational products — always grounded in numbers, processes, and clear analytics.

My background in finance taught me to think of marketing as the mathematics of business, where every decision is measurable and every action has its own algorithm. KODO grew from a small social media marketing initiative in 2015 into a full-fledged digital agency working with clients around the world (except russia and belarus). We have weathered market turbulence, including 2022, when we had to adapt quickly and rebuild an «adaptive marketing system» that enables businesses to recover and grow despite external circumstances.

Today, I focus on strategy, delegation, and sensing trends; I produce launches and help clients build predictable sales through social media. I believe in the power of long-term relationships, being systematic, and inner motivation — «I am the person most invested in my own success» — and these are what lead me and my clients to new achievements.

How did you come up with the business idea?

My journey in digital began with a challenge. In 2014, because of the war in my hometown of Donetsk, I suddenly found myself with nothing: without the job I loved (at the time, I was head of cash operations at a bank branch), without stability, and without knowing what would come next. This "zero point" became my greatest teacher.

I realized that the only way to be independent of circumstances was to have a profession without borders. That was when I discovered social media. Together with two friends, we began learning about social media marketing, back when it was not yet mainstream. We started creating and managing social media pages for businesses. Although many people doubted this direction, and entrepreneurs could not understand how a page on an entertainment platform could bring in customers, those who made quick decisions soon saw for themselves how people learned about their businesses while liking their friends' posts.

We started receiving new social media promotion orders very quickly, and on January 25, 2015, this momentum led us to seek out a team and create our own agency. At first, the agency was called SMM mag, and in 2017 we transformed it into the digital agency KODO, which is still thriving today. What began as an attempt to survive a crisis became my life's work, helping experts build their sales systems for 12 years now.

My background in finance became my superpower: I never saw marketing as just "pretty pictures"; to me, it has always been the mathematics of business and a clear strategy.

What key skills helped you launch your business?

  • Persistence;
  • Willingness to learn quickly;
  • Ability to take responsibility;
  • Structured thinking;
  • Hard work.

What were the 3 most difficult challenges you tackled in the early years?

  • Hiring frontline team members for the first time (delegation);
  • Bringing on a project director;
  • Not parting ways with my business partners.

What crises has your business faced, and how did you overcome them?

2022: A new challenge and adaptation. February 24, 2022, was another test of my professional resilience. The market we had spent years building came to a standstill in an instant: many businesses closed or suspended operations because of the full-scale invasion. It was a time when we had to actively seek clients again and completely rethink our strategies. Yet this experience helped me crystallize a system that works even in the most difficult times — an adaptive marketing system that enables businesses not just to survive, but to find new avenues for growth regardless of external circumstances.

We quickly adapted to the new realities. As early as March, we began offering clients a plan for returning to work and supporting them so we could resume working together as soon as possible. We began actively seeking new clients. I remember July 2022. By then, we had already returned to working at full capacity.

Which decisions proved most effective for the company's growth?

  1. Delegation The most important turning point in my growth was realizing that for the company to scale, I had to step away from day-to-day operations and stop being the "bottleneck" in my own business. For me, delegation means trust and investment in the team. I focused on what I do best — strategy and generating ideas — and entrusted the processes to professionals. This allowed my projects to grow autonomously, while giving me a bird's-eye view of the business and enabling me to respond to market changes in time
  2. Sensing trends Marketing in 2026 leaves no room for being late, so sensing and anticipating trends is now an essential skill. I don't know if it can be learned quickly, because anticipating and sensing trends is a combination of three factors: ongoing analysis of numbers and market statistics, extensive experience observing how strategies evolve, and my own inner «instinct». This combination allows me to determine exactly where to direct energy and resources right now to achieve the best possible results.

Which of your mistakes do you now consider your most valuable learning experience?

Not developing my personal brand (social capital).

How did you earn your first $100?

Selling flowers.

How did you earn your first $1 000?

Working as an accountant.

How did you earn your first $10 000?

Growing a digital agency.

How did you earn your first $100 000?

Growing a digital agency and creating your own educational programs. Creating a service: client support.

How did you earn your first $1 000 000?

I'm heading in that direction; ask me in a couple of years.

Section 4: How can I be useful? Experience I can share.

Services of the KODO Digital Agency: KODO Digital Agency provides comprehensive services for promoting businesses, experts, and educational projects on social media.

Strategic social media promotion:

  • developing a customized marketing strategy;
  • personal brand positioning;
  • creating a product line;
  • a strategy for consistent sales through social media;
  • launching educational products and services.

Managing and scaling digital teams:

  • building a team to meet the needs of the business;
  • establishing internal processes;
  • delegation, quality control, analytics.

Producing expert-led and educational projects:

  • producing launches;
  • packaging flagship products;
  • launching subscriptions and clubs.

Your experience: how do you systematize a business?

  1. Understand that other people can do some things better than you and delegate those tasks to them. A business should run not on the owner's energy 24/7, but on documented processes. Every action at my KODO agency has its own "recipe"—from how we begin a project to client reporting.
  2. Money and all key metrics must always be calculated. As a former CFO, I am sure that what we don't measure, we can't control. Systematization starts with a clear dashboard of metrics (ROI, LTV, conversions), where every step is quantified, as well as an understanding of revenue sources and expenses. Quick impact and unnecessary expenses.
  3. An autonomous team that can work without your supervision 24/7.

Your experience: how do you grow twofold in a year?

This question calls for a very broad answer, because increasing revenue is always a combination of actions that work through a cumulative effect.

Section 5: Club value

What am I looking for in the club?

For me, the club is first and foremost a place for people who feel like my kind of people. During my time here, I’ve realized that its greatest value lies in the people: sincere, open, and incredibly interesting. I also find great value in mastermind sessions where specific cases are discussed, and in any format where entrepreneurs share their experience.
